			<title>Sometimes love is tough</title>
			<link>http://www.christianadc.com/news-and-articles/420?task=view#josc289</link>
<description>As a Christian, the Bible commands me to love God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love others as I love myself. Obeying God does not translate as \&quot;HATE\&quot; unless you hate the same things that God hates.

To love God, I need to be obedient to Him. Which means obeying ALL of His Word, which is written for us in the Bible. I cannot ignore part of the Bible simply because it is not \&quot;politically correct\&quot;.

To love others, I need to love their souls and \&quot;walk as Jesus walked\&quot;. Jesus loved all people, and He desired for them all to accept His free gift of salvation. But He knew not everyone would.

Part of loving others is to love them enough to warn them of the danger they face by disobeying God\'s commands. We warn our children of the danger involved in certain things and we try to make them stay away. But they don\'t always listen, and sometimes children get hurt by being disobedient to their parents.

What kind of love is it to allow children to go their own way, knowing they are getting into danger, without at least attempting to warn them?

In the same way, as we read the Bible and educate people about the danger ahead of them if they continue to disobey God, we show them true Christian love, NOT HATE.</description>
