 We would like to honor Dr. James Dobson for his incredible work with Focus on the Family as he retires from the ministry he started in 1977. Focus on the Family grew to become one of the most influential and prominent Christian ministries in the world, reaching more than 220 million people. But this was not without controversy. Dobson is an expert and passionate advocate for traditional families. He knew that the breakdown of the family is the most significant cultural and moral issue of our day. Because Dr. Dobson refused to compromise biblical principles, he has been viciously maligned and unfairly slandered by anti-Christian zealots. James Dobson is a courageous example of what it means to be a man of conviction. It’s an honor to defend Christian leaders like him they are attacked.
