Rifqa BaryLast week in Arizona, a Muslim Iraqi immigrant, Faleh Almaleki, was charged with the murder of his daughter, Noor Almaleki. Faleh believed his daughter was becoming “too Westernized” so he perpetrated a Muslim honor killing. This is a sad reminder that honor killings not only occur in the Middle East, but now here in America.

Seventeen year old Rifqa Bary knows this all too well. Rifqa’s Muslim father threatened to kill her because she converted to Christianity, so she fled to Florida. But the courts sent her back to Ohio foster care.

Now the minister that helped Rifqa escape is under investigation and her family is trying to get the courts to force Rifqa to come home against her will.

TAKE ACTION:

The threats on Rifqa’s life from her father and others must not be taken lightly. Join us in defending Rifqa’s safety.
