After converting to Christianity from Islam, Rifqa Bary, a seventeen year old cheerleader from Ohio, ran away from her home Rifqa Barylast summer after her devout Muslim father threatened her life. Rather than going home Rifqa was sent to the Ohio Foster care system.

 

Over this time we have urged you to contact Ohio Governor Strickland and demand that they protect Rifqa. Thanks to your pressure and concern Rifqa’s situation has finally come to just resolution.

 

Rifqa will be allowed to remain in foster care until she turns 18, then she will have the choice as an adult as to where she will live.

 

Please continue to pray for her safety. Thousands of women are killed every year by their Muslim families and Rifqa has received many threats on her life since her case began.

Governor! I even wrote to his wife.
