A New Hampshire judge recently ordered Christian mom, Brenda Voydatch, to enroll her ten year old home school daughter, Amanda, in a public school, even though the mother has home schooled her daughter since first grade with curriculum that meets state standards. After an extensive investigation by the state, they found the Amanda was bright, socially well adjusted and academically ahead of her public school peers. So why was she forced in to a public school? Because a single over-reaching judge felt the little girl reflected too strongly her mother’s Christian faith and that the girl’s best interest would be served by exposure to other points of view. The judge clearly usurped the right of this parent to educate her child according to her faith. Now the New Hampshire Supreme Court has decided to hear this pivotal case on parental rights. TAKE ACTION: Help us urge the court to respect families’ religious liberty and parents’ right to home school.
